Our Story
Why We Started Jameson Stone
Jameson Stone Law opened in 2018, founded by Daniel R. Jameson and Ethan K. Stone, who had known each other for years before they built a firm together. Ethan had been running his own practice since 2012. Their shared view, and the reason the firm exists, is that the profession has not meaningfully changed how it works in generations: a meter running quietly in the background, calls routed through somebody else first, and advice given in isolation from the accountant or advisor who knows the rest of the picture. Jameson Stone was built to practice without those things.
Yes, across every practice area. Bring whatever documents you have and expect a straight answer about where you stand, what the options are, and what pursuing them would cost. There is no charge and nothing owed either way, including when the honest answer is that you do not need a lawyer for this.
One of the two of us. Daniel Jameson leads the business, real estate, and estate planning work. Ethan Stone leads criminal defense, DUI, and personal injury. Plenty of matters touch both sides, and those get worked between them rather than passed across. As the owners of the firm, we work on or oversee every file, so whichever of us takes yours keeps it through to the day it closes. If a matter falls outside our practice areas, we will say so and refer you to a lawyer who handles it.

Where the Experience Comes From
Ethan Stone grew up here, attended Cumberland Valley High School, studied economics at Penn State, and took his law degree at Penn State Dickinson in Carlisle before opening his own practice in 2012. Daniel Jameson has spent his career advising businesses, on formation, contracts, real estate, and the disputes that follow from both. Between them they have counseled clients in thousands of matters, and the judges, county offices, and recording clerks they deal with are the same ones they have been dealing with for years.
